Blunsdon 0-12 Croft Blue

Croft Blue announced themselves as back in the title race with the biggest win by any team this season in the league, away at Blunsdon. The boys were joined for the first time by new signing Bikash Limbu, who had been waiting for paperwork to come through before could wear the red and blue. It took Bikash less than 30 seconds to show why he was worth the wait, by storming through the centre, rounding the goalkeeper and putting the Blues ahead. Top scorer Luca Colucci made it 9 for the season with a hattrick in the first half, taking him to within 3 of the top scorers in the league. Holding midfielder Zac Brain scored his first goal for the club, and Jack Cremin also added his second for the team after the break. Captain Ben Rowlands smashed in a free kick from 35 yards as the boys continued to dominate. But the star of the show was Bikash, who scored a hattrick in each half, and with his powerful running, shooting range of passing, the boys can be sure of the fact they have a top player in their team. And the rest of the team are just strolling into form too, with two of their stronger players in Stan Banks and Finn Tremblen also edging closer to fitness, no-one will fancy a game with the boys right now…
