As a result of the success of 2014, this year’s Croft Charity Tournament will take place on Sat 30th and Sun 31st May (the week after the Bank Holiday) and we will again be raising funds for Prospect. Last year we managed to raise £1000.00 for them.
The days and times of the age groups are as follows:
Saturday 30th May
Sat (10.00-12.00) U7’s and U8’s
Sat (12.30-2.30) U9’s and U10’s
Sat (3.00-5.00) U11’s and U12’s
Sun 31st May
Sun (10.00-12.00) U13’s and U14’s
Sun (12.30-2.30) U16’s and U18’s
Sun (3.00-5.00) U15’s
This year we will be charging an entry fee, which is only £10.00, and we will still be doing the same as last year with £30.00 worth of raffle tickets for you to sell. This means your initial cost is £40.00 (in advance), however you still get to keep all the proceeds from your raffle sales for your Club funds, as was the case last year. In essence if you sell your tickets then you will only end up paying £10.00 to enter. There are some great prizes already on board with undoubtedly more to follow in due course. This approach worked well in 2014 and all were in favour of it, and thought it a worthy cause, so we have decided to continue it for the 2015 Tournament. We hope you will support us with this with an entry for your team.
The tournament will again be in the format of 5-a-side with two permitted subs.
